Our latest interior event styling project for James Hardie, saw us bring to life their latest research into emerging home design trends. We showcased the style direction of each trend at an exclusive lunch event in Sydney.
The event was hosted by interior designer, Neale Whitaker, who walked guests through the new home design trends for 2024.
Every element of the event had to be hand picked and carefully curated, to embody the design trends. The most prevalent was Modern Farmhouse and it inspired our eclectic tablescape. Here we mixed metals with ceramics and layered textures.
The colours we used were warm and homely, in keeping with the feel of the Modern Farmhouse trend.
Our top picks for the Modern Farmhouse tablescape styling was the delicate petal napkins and the fruit laden tamarillo branches in jugs.
To add height to the table we used tall sculptured candles. The beeswax candles had a similar texture to the ceramics and paired well.
We also included budding Hyacinth to add a layer of fragrance to the table styling. Smell is a styling layer that is often overlooked. It helps to enhance the mood for guests.
This combination created a soft, design lead tablescape with layers for guest to discover.
